also is their a nut to tighten on the outside to keep the blade from lowering when sawing ?? Mine does and here is what i had to do check the end play with the nut and shaft that when you tighen it down and loosen it their is just a little play in it. If it is to tight to start with it will be tight when it is sopose to be loose ? Just a thought . It take a little playing around to adjust it.
