The biggest problem with dust collection on Contractor's style table saws is what the industry has provided, the generic plastic shallow trayed dust hood under the saw, it's very inefficient. I know that alot of people worry about the backside of the saw being open, but with a good dust hood and dust collector you'd be suprised what little bit of dust actually makes it's way out of the cabinet.
