Yes, people, I do have my perspective back....thanks for the wonderful thoughts and concerns. As far as having any medical problems...yes I do have RA, and kidney problems, but I have to do something to keep my sanity in this world and woodworking has been my salvation for 35yrs.
I find it gives me a sense of fulfillment to think of something...some furniture, and make it come to life.
These chairs are a first for me but I want to have my relatives have something I have made after I am gone, and a rocking chair seems to be the best for reflections and membrances of past family members.
It has been only 6 weeks since I first got the idea to build these chairs....now the two are ready for assembly....and I shall try to post some pictures....if I can learn enough on how to do it.
Using Charles Neil's method of sculpting the seats was an enlightening idea and I shall do the other seats the same during the next year....and chairs are Xmas presents...so I do have some time to do and finish them.
