Good day, Bill, yes the stamina is required to concentrate on making the individual parts....but when you have the patterns made it is very easy to copy one after another and bandsaw, route, and sand to get what you desire in the finished product. I have the Shopsmith 5-in-1 woodworking tool and set it up to run as many items I need for the projects i am making all in one setup, then switch the machine over to the next setup I need and run the items thru.... it is all in organizing one's mind in doing the work sequentially till you have finally reached your end result and a good woodworking project is finished.
I still have to purchase some more wood to make the balusters/spindles for the two chairs yet; the seats have been sculpted, sanded(need some more yet), arms, rockers, seat designs cut and planed to final thicknesses, splats cut and sanded. Setup one seat with the parts installed DRY to see how things were progressing and it really is coming together nicely for the first two chairs.
