Ric, As you have stated that you have read and considered all the above post I'll only recommend that before proceeding with the tile on thinset cement, that you scrub the floor using a strong solution of muriatic acid/water mix with a stiff brush on a broom handle and rinse with clear water. This will not only clean but will also etch the concrete for a better bond of the thinset. George
