Well since you asked, I wasn't really very good in school when I was younger. I did ok in math, and then in about 1974 I took a Mechanical Drafting class in Vancouver, Wash. ( Evergreen High School ) I took an interest in the class and recieved straight A's, but I didn't persued it after High School until a couple years ago when I got sick and tired of breathing dust and cleaning it up. I bought a sheet metal Brake and a few other tools to do this type of work and it's been fun. I wish I had persued this type of work immediately after High School, but I was just another misguided kid. Took a job in a Union Meat Packing plant not because it interested me, but because it was fairly good money for a young kid just out of school. Partying and women were another obstacle. There is a sheet metal shop here intown where I get my materials, I put a bug in their ear occassionally to hire me. The guy even has a WaterJet machine, I'd love to work in a place like that.
