Joe, your reaction to recent events is troubling. Of course, you will be missed here if you do leave, but the more important thing is that you will miss something you obviously have cared deeply about for some time. Your proposal to dispose of all of your tools is a sign that something is amiss. I hope you have people in your life who care for you and that they will encourage you to get a complete medical workup to determine what may have brought about this abrupt decision. I say abrupt because from our perspective it is abrupt. Sometimes as we age our chemical balances in our bodies change and need to be addressed. Please go get checked out just to make sure that everything about you is good to go - and then make life changing decisions if you choose to.
For the rest of us, we will try not to take things personally and respond defensively, but rather try to find ways we can be support to you. Perhaps our days of sharing woodworking experiences has not yet come to a halt.
