But rather the tone and tenor of the comments and the tendency to attack others with a different view. It invariably tends to go hyperbolic and "political" because the issue laps into areas of personal freedom and a perceived loss of personal choice. If sarcasm and pet peeves about the role of government, economic theory, and postulates on foreign or international trade policy can't be "left at the door", the individual posts should be deleted.

Ellis didn't establish this forum to be anyone's bully pulpit or a venue for primordial scream therapy. Either we accept opposing views, agreeing to disagree in a collegial atmosphere, or we don't comment at all.
