Subject:
The loss of 10 fingers every day in the USA

seems like a real good reason to add the technology. If you don't like Sawstop, do you not use seat belts? Not use GFI's in the bathroom? Have smoke detectors in the house? All those are either law or in your building code. Stuff happens. I have only half the use of the middle finger on my left hand. Tangled with a biscuit joiner when it kicked out a small piece of wood from my hand and I couldn't react. Cost my insurance company over $10,000 for emergency room, two surgeries and all those hospital costs, and doctor visits. My next table saw will be a Saw Stop.
