Charlie: You seem to have taken offense to what I said. Looking back on my post, I don't see what I said to offend you or anyone else. My miter saw works well for what it's made for, thank you. I don't need a new or better one. I don't go out on job sites, either. So, it's like I said. I guess the best saw for our purposes depends on our purposes. I cut very small segments for bowls. Doing that on a miter saw - no matter how good the saw - has the small pieces flying all over the place. With a small blade on a table saw and a sled, I don't have that problem.

I did not brag about having anything. I worked hard, too, for what I do have. I'm a hobbyist and I use a contractor's style table saw a lot. That's not a brag. I use my miter saw a lot, too. That's not a brag, either.
