Subject:
OT-The Day The Music Died-American Pie-voice over

Terry Alexander
2-3 is the "anniversary" of the plane crash that took Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, and Roger Peterson (pilot).
Don McLean wrote and performed "American Pie". It is "supposed" to be about Buddy Holly, the JFK assasination, Viet Nam, Bobby Kennedy assasination, and a lot of other events.

Only once in my life have I heard the song with a "voice over" telling what each verse meant. I have never been able to find it as I don't think it is a commercial publication/recording.

Having said/typed all of that......do any of you know where I can get a copy of "American Pie" with the voice over. If I remember correctly, it really is quite moving.

As always....thanks in advance.
