TIMBER FRAME TABLE
It's the joinery that holds this beauty together.

    This coffee table began as a study of timber frame joinery, where every supporting joint is mechanical and needs no glue. The leg to apron joint is a housed overlapped bridle that fits without movement. The joists that support the top in the middle are wedge pinned through the apron. And, of course, we glued straight lined walnut into the sycamore to emphasize the structure.
