BANDSAWN BEAUTY Borrowed design elements add interest. SHOP OWNER: Larry Fuller LOCATION: Yakima, WA     In the past year, I completed this bandsawn box. I tried to make mine different from most that I've seen while at the same time utilize some of the designs, which I studied in the art of metal engraving.     The box features black walnut from a tree in my back yard for the top. The base of the box is oak I purchased at Home Depot. It started out as a single glued-up block of wood. After cutting with the band saw, I used spindle sanders, belt sanders, and lots of hand sanding to shape it. . . .
