TURNING CONTEST
Decorated Vessels
Contest Deadline: August 15, 2006
Official Contest Entry Rules

How to enter:
This is strictly an online competition. All entries must be made electronically on our special contest entry pages. No mailed entries will be accepted. Limit one entry per contestant.

Your entry will consist of:
  • your contact information (name, address, phone number and e-mail address)
  • dimensions of your piece(s)
  • materials used
  • minimum of three (3), maximum of five (5), digital photos of your entry
  • descriptions to go with the photos
  • a secure online payment of the entry fee

The photos should show all the important features of your completed entry. Images must be in JPG (JPEG), GIF, TIF (TIFF) or BMP format, with a maximum file size of 10Mb. Don't worry about the physical size (in pixels) of the images; our software will size them automatically for judging and display to the public. Photos should be at least 500 pixels on the longer dimension for clarity.

The descriptions should explain your techniques, design notes and anything else that would help to inform the judges' decisions, including hidden attributes or special features that may not be visible from the photos.

After you have composed your entry, you will be able to preview your entry and make adjustments if necessary, but once you have submitted your entry and paid the entry fee, no further editing will be allowed.
